Still in love with the TRO look for my rendered models, as you can see. I actually like the way this one came out, though I still think I could have put in more detail, but I usually end up making models look worse when I over work them. Meh. No real information about the mech itself, just you average, "I don't need no fricking flashy shit", grunt of a mech. I might put up a color render, but don't hold your breaths.

i like this style of rendering myself. i also like outlined vector rendering. one or two colors.. it helps to see the details . great job

A little pixely, but still quite awsome. Unless you're trying to show every line edge on the mech, I'd suggest a rendering program that'll make it look a little more realistic (i.e. as if you were looking at it in real life). If you can open the model in Blender, I'd suggest the render engine Yaf-Ray. Basically you just install the engine into blender (it's a free engine made by the same people as blender, which is also free), and tell it to render it with yaf-ray. It takes a bit to render, but then again when doesn't a good render take a long time? Blender will also allow you to color the model, but I'd suggest whatever you normally use to color, as blender is REALLY hard to learn (aka I still can't figure out to paint directly onto the models). All in all you will have a very nice looking 3d model that you can be extremely proud of!

Mad, you seem to be perfecting the TRO render. Alot of my standard renders don't look as realistic as this.

I think the TRO style renders are deffinately different for DoGA models, but I think you should really post more color renders. While I can see a lot of the detail here, I think it would stand out more with the proper colors and textures.

Interesting design though, your mecha always seem to have a very strait forward and practical feel.

Yes, the level of detail looks good, as is, although there seems to be quite a bit of overlap with the finger joints that doen't quite work...

The ground is also good. It adds to the pic, without being too much, although you might want to put in a silhouette of a City-Skyline in the background (something small to the upper left, maybe?) to give the horizon a little more definition.

Just some thoughts :D

It looks great, just the way it is.

I like the style.
